This tutor basically set background theme with image. That your app will overlay. So when you app ready to render it’s time when splash screen is hidden. You cant set exact time in such way. bit you can add some time with set timeout on react-native main view link with MainActivity.
Or you can set same image in react view and use setTimeout for render
